A Practical Tool to Use With Your Clients and Employees

Do you want to be more effective in helping others to unlock their own abilities to grow in their lives and careers? This training is designed for business and helping professionals to increase your effectiveness in assisting others to navigate change. You may know and use other change models, but Centerpoint's Cycle of Change has helped people get unstuck when other approaches haven't worked.

Developed and refined since Centerpoint's inception in 1992, the Cycle of Change is a powerful tool for our clients in transition. Guiding thousands of people to gain a new perspective on their lives and careers, this model presents change in a supportive and individualized framework, ultimately allowing people to navigate their own process gracefully and confidently.

Centerpoint's model offers creative, insightful, and practical strategies for managing life's transitions with greater ease, acceptance, and understanding by presenting a fresh, non-linear perspective on the stages of the change process.

We offer two Tracks: Individual Track: Using the Cycle one-on-one and Group Track: Teaching and facilitating the Cycle with groups.

How this certification will help you

  • Add to your "toolbox" of skills to draw upon
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the change cycle, including the challenges and helpful activities of each phase
  • Assess what's happening with your clients and employees more quickly and accurately
  • Differentiate yourself from others in your field; uniquely position yourself as one who can make a profound difference with clients and employees

How this will help your clients and employees

  • Be able to recommend useful activities that help them work with the process instead of against it
  • Share practical next steps to get them unstuck
  • Give them a way to normalize change and put it in a new, healthy perspective
  • Increased awareness and acceptance
  • Clear the way for effective change to occur

Learning Facilitators

Program facilitators and evaluators are Centerpoint-certified core faculty members and counselors. Having from seven to 20 years in the field, each has found the Cycle of Change model to be invaluable in their work at the Institute.
