Centerpoint staff can provide individual counseling for members of your team to help map strategies for career management and renewal within the organization.
Our experienced consultants coach new, emerging, or seasoned leaders in skills, approaches, and strategies for institutional, departmental, and/or team change.
Individual and group career counseling services on- and off-site for those experiencing major life transitions and support for managers as they prepare for layoffs and downsizings. For one or many, Centerpoint's outplacement programs are especially appropriate for employees considering career changes and experiencing major shifts in identity.
Centerpoint has experienced speakers and facilitators available for presentations to businesses, social service organizations, non-profit and educational groups, law schools, alumni associations, special events and other settings. We can coordinate a speaking or training program related to career management and life/work satisfaction to fit your organization's needs, interests and time constraints. We can present an array of talks: from an engaging 20 minute talk, a 45 minute keynote address, a half-day interactive workshop to designing and facilitating a complete retreat program for your organization.
To meet the needs of the spouse/partner who is relocating along with your employee, Centerpoint's full program of services can be of enormous help. Our LifeWork Renewal Workshop enables the spouse/partner to understand the changes they are experiencing in order to be supportive to their spouse/partner in a healthy and constructive way as well as to address their own needs.
Additional workshops help with the full range of career planning for the person who must now change jobs or careers to accommodate the needs of his/her partner. As an adjunct to our workshops or on its own, individual career counseling can explore the specific questions around adjusting to a new location and job or career.
