Getting Started

At Centerpoint we imagine a world where everyone’s life is powered by passion! Since 1992 we’ve been successfully assisting our individual and organizational clients to create more meaningful, purpose-filled and passionate lives and work.

We're located in Seattle, Washington. All of our classes are held on the Talaris World Campus in the Sandpoint area. Below we describe how individuals, organizations, and helping professionals can get started. If you are located outside of Seattle, Washington, we describe the ways you can connect with us (if you live somewhere else).

For Individuals

• You can choose from workshops, retreats, individual career counseling and coaching to help you reconnect with your own internal guidance system, increase your effectiveness and shorten the process to bring more satisfying results.
• Support circles, networking and resource-sharing programs as well as the opportunity to be involved in the Centerpoint community of others who are making changes similar to your own.
• Attend a Free Orientation to visit Centerpoint, learn all about how the career process really works, meet one of our staff members and ask lots of questions to determine if our services fit what you need.

For Organizations

You want employees who bring their best to work. We can help you accomplish this through a variety of services:

• Career/Change Management Workshops and Retreats facilitate employees' abilities to navigate and manage their work lives -- especially helpful before, during, or after mergers, reorganizations, downsizings, or other major changes.
• On- or Off-Site Career Development Counseling and Coaching to help map strategies for career management and renewal within the organization.
• Outplacement Services for one or many, Centerpoint's approach is especially appropriate for employees considering career changes and experiencing major shifts in identity.
• Retreat and Meeting Facilitation/ Presentations related to career management, team-building and life/work satisfaction to fit your organization's needs, interests, time and finances.

For Helping Professionals

The Centerpoint Cycles of Change Professional Certification Program is for coaches, therapists, career counselors, managers, trainers, clergy, organizational development consultants and human resource professionals. This training is designed to increase your effectiveness in assisting others to navigate change.

We're Here to Serve You

Centerpoint is a service-oriented organization. We provide focus, support, structure, resources and helpful tools including: A LifeWork Resource Center with books, magazines, videotapes, access to high-speed internet and other resource materials to assist both individual and organizational clients.

Services for Individuals (remote)

1. You may want to consider attending The Retreat. Our four and one-half day Retreat is generally held several times a year and draws from all over the US and Canada. It's held at various retreat centers in Western Washington. Go to The Retreat for more information about dates and locations.

Services for Organizations (remote)

1. We can travel to wherever you are. In the past we have facilitated retreats and presented workshops all over the country and Canada, from New York City to California, Florida to Vancouver, British Columbia.

Professional Certification Program (remote)

1. Designed to accommodate out-of-town participants, the program is scheduled so you can travel to Seattle for two days per month for three consecutive months.
